Abstract

The refrigerator temperature control system which operates the defrosting element in dependence of ambient temp. The refrigerator has a deep freeze compartment (2) and a normal freezer compartment (1) enclosed by the evaporator serving of the cooling of the normal storage space of the refrigerator. The evaporator is connected in series after the evaporator serving the deep freeze compartment (2). The normal freezing compartment (1) is fitted with a defrosting heating element (3) connected to the power supply by lines (4, 4'). The circuit of the defrosting element is fitted with an additional control device (5) which controls the heating element output according the prevailing ambient temp. The control device (5) is provided with sensor (6) fitted on the outside face of the refrigerator casing and connected with the control device (5) by lines (7, 7').
