Abstract

The flow rate control device comprises a housing, a housing inlet adapted to be coupled to a liquid flow supply, a housing outlet, a housing wall portion defining within the housing, on the one hand, a tubular through flow path which communicates at the ends thereof respectively with the inlet and outlet, and, on the other hand, a chamber communicating with the inlet and being otherwise closed and being separated from the flow path by at least one, resiliently, flexible wall portion, the arrangement such that a portion of the supply is located in the chamber in a substantially no flow condition whilst the remainder of the supply flows through the path.
