Abstract

Enclosure with a cover includes a pump which sucks particle-laden gas through an inlet into a chamber partly filled with liquid. A deflector turns the flow straight downwards towards the surface, and a sawtooth baffle's edges brush the surface of the liquid. The deflector forms one arm of one vee of the baffle which is at least partly integral with the cover.
