Abstract

The motor mower has a front positioned cutter with an oscillating blade which is coupled to a grass distributor (17). The mower is driven by means of a crank gear by means of a slide ring (8) engaging in a rocket arm of the cutter head. The slide ring (8) is parallel to the cutter bar (1), and has at least one crossbar (10) the free end of which fits into a guide piece or directly onto the mower bar (1). The guide piece (12) is situated roughly on the same height as the path of the slide ring (8) above the cutter bar (1). A cover for the cutter head (5) is fixed onto the slide ring (8). On the side of the slide ring away from the cutter bar (1), the slide ring (8) has a bracket (14) to which the cover and the grass distributor (17) are fixed.
