Abstract

The cap, formed by injection moulding of a plastics material, comprises a top (1) with an interior wall (2) which engages in the neck of the container and ensures airtightness. A supplementary rib (4) also rests on the container's neck. The cap skirt (5) has an internal screw thread (6) and its lower part is conical and clips under the collar (8) of the container by means of a rib (9). The top of the cap has a sealing ring (10) attached by tendons (11) to the cap and this is forced over the collar of the container and the cap by a tube. When the cap is unscrewed the sealing ring breaks.
