Abstract

Two component compatible polyurethane coatings in a solvent with a Kauri-butanol number 40 are composed of: a film forming adduct of isophorone diisocyanate with the condensation prod. of a >1 basic acid and an epoxy cpd.; and a film forming polyhydroxy cpd. The coatings have little tendency to discolour and may be easily applied with a brush or roller.
