Abstract

The fixed, curved blade (2) of the shears is bolted (3) to the front of the body (1). The movable blade (5) connected by a pin (4) to the fixed blade, is is screwed (5a) to a lever (5b) also hinged to the axle (4). The lever (5b) is joined by a pivoting balance lever (6) to one, pref. two symmetrical links (7) joined to the outer end of the lever (5b) and of the balance lever (6) by means of eyes (8,9). The balance lever (6) is hinged by an axle (10) near the front of the outer body (1). A hydraulic part operating the movable blade consists of an inner part (14) fixed or screwed (15) to the back, handle part of the outer body (1), which has a cylindrical bore (17) for a drive piston (13). The piston rod (12) is fixed to the balance lever (6). The outer front end of the bore (17) has a stopper. The side of the hole at the outer back end has an axial opening (18) leading into a cylindrical bearing, containing the hydraulic distributor.
