Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a mirror driving apparatus, in which mirror is supported in freely tilted and turned manner at the central portion on the back of itself, and hydraulic cylinders are actuated via control valve with handling of a knob, whereby it is enabled to finely adjust the mirror angle by way of remote contol. CONSTITUTION:Spherical top 71a of actuating rod 71 is supported in freely tilted and turned manner at connecting portion 51 formed on the back of mirror holder 5. Pipe 9 is extended from cylinder portions 721 to 723 associated respectively with three actuating rods 711 to 713, and the other end of the pipe 9 is connected to control valve 10. Further, a control knob 102a is provided at the central portion of valve body 102 and always held in its neutral position by a spring. When knob 102a is moved perpendicularly to the plane of the attached drawing, hydraulic oil is delivered into pipe 92 so that actuating rod 712 is forced out of the pipe whereas actuating rod 713 is urged into cylinder 72. As a result, the right half of mirror 4 is moved forward as viewed from the front.
