Abstract

The flame guard (FW) circuit is to provide greater independence from mains voltage fluctuations. A photoresistor (LD) is part of a voltage divider which controls an amplifier (Tr1, Tr2) for a photo relay (F), there being provided a switch (P1, P2) by means of which the operating sensitivity can be changed. The alternating voltage is applied via a series impedance (C1, R2) to a first Zener diode (Z1). A first series circuit of a first rectifier (D1) and of a second charging capacitor (C2) is connected in parallel with the first Zener diode (Z1). A second series circuit with a second Zener diode (Z2), a second rectifier (D2) and a first charging capacitor (C3) is also connected in parallel with the first Zener diode (Z1). The two Zener diodes have opposite conducting directions. An additional connection (11) is connected via a series impedance (R9) between the second Zener diode (Z2) and the second rectifier (D2).
