Abstract

The advertising display, for mounting on the roof of a taxi, comprises a rectangular box (1), containing the advertising material, with at least one of its sides being transparent and at least one of the sides being removable. The box is secured to a support rail (7), which is formed at either side as a clamp for securing it to the rim around the taxi roof. The box (1) is made of plastics with both sides (2) being removable and transparent and contains a light source (5) for illuminating the advertising display. An illuminated taxi sign (9) may be fitted to the top of the box (1). The support rail (7) is pref. curved round at either end, with a bolt (81) carrying a clamping bar (8) passing through it.
