Abstract

Faults in safety lines for ski lifts are located by a galvanometer in a current measuring circuit. Difficulties of localising faults is overcome by applying a voltage to the line and comparing the results with a fault free response. A flip flop (9) synchronises a clock (8) and pulse (11) generator outputs for amplification (12) and application to a safety line. The signals from gate (10) are counted (14) till they reach the number of points analysed. They are compared (17) with pulses counted (15) from a comparator (16) on the graphic recorder. The outputs of line drive sampling circuits, controlled by a sampling signal (Ech) from a monostable (18), govern writing and sample processing.
