Abstract

Modular building system uses upper and lower elements of identical height and width, each one being U-shaped and having three lateral faces, preferably rectangular in shape. By using two such elements, placing the upper one on top of the lower one, a module is constructed with a floor, walls and ceiling. Any number of these modules can be joined together. In order to make the finished building completely stable, the lower elements are supported on a ground beam. The lateral faces of the lower elements can also be reinforced by longitudinal ribs.
