Abstract

The appratus is for the distribution of a product under pressure, and particularly for use as a fire extinguisher. It comprises a reservoir (1) containing the product to be distributed and a flexible hose (4) connected to the reservoir at a guarded point. At the free end of the hose is a control head (5) incorporating a gas bottle (6) for pressurising the reservoir, and also a spray nozzle (10). There can be a single hose serving both to pressurise the reservoir using a cartridge as in a soda-water syphon and to discharge the product. The control head can have a leaver (9) puncturing the gas bottle.
