Abstract

The junction box, for electrical installations, consists of an upper insulating housing half and a lower insulating housing half with openings for the cables and a coupling to cooperate with a second coupling belonging to a multi-pole terminal support. The coupling (30-31) of the lower part (17) of the box (15) extends up to the height of the front edge of the free edge (27) of the lower part such that the connection block (54) held by the terminal support (53) is easily accessible when the top of the box is removed. The bottom of the lower part has several raised couplings.
