Abstract

The side forms (1) are for use in the industrialised prods of precast prestressed concrete beams of T or I section. The forms are used to apply heat to the products in a thermal curing process. The side forms are movable and used in conjunction with static soffit forms. Each side form has double walls and thus forms a conduit for heating fluid. A circulation system is used to supply heating fluid. All the forms are connected across the feed (2) and return (4) pipes of the circulation system. A central unit (6) both heats and circulates the fluid.
