Abstract

The card comprises two opaque PVC supports bearing inscriptions on their outer surfaces and covered with two layers of translucent PVC. On the surface of one support facing the other support are deposited designs in metallic ink based on Ag. The thickness of the first support is pref. at least twice that of the other. The card is mfd. by printing characters on the outer surfaces of the two supports, and applying a design by silk-screeh printing on the inner surface of the first support, using a conductive Ag-based ink. Two sheets of translucent PVC are applied to the outer surfaces of the two supports, and the assembly is then laminated in the hot state to ensure plastification and finally cut to size.
