Abstract

An amphibious tricycle, following the original patent, has improved steering and which can be disassembled easily. The frame member (4) is used as before but provision is made for the removal of the rear axle (5). This axle is carried in a U shaped part with axle housings. The axle itself is mad e up from several distinct parts, easily assembled and taken apart. The ends of the axle are fitted with paddles (6) inside the wheel (2). The front wheel steers in forks (15) controlled by the handlebars (7). On an extension of a frame member, rearwards, is fitted a rudder (50) to help steering when in water.
