Abstract

The two-pole, low voltage power circuit breaker is intended for protection against overloading or short circuit current and has a magnetic and a thermal overcurrent relay and an earth circuit current relay. The two relays with the switching mechanism and the contacts are mounted in separate housings. The earth circuit part (1) is firmly mounted as the lower part of the assembly. The overcurrent part (2) is pluggable, together with the switching mechanism onto the earth circuit part, the plug connection providing both electric and mechanical coupling. This type of assembly is suitable for various rated current values without needing a new wiring for each current value.
