Abstract

A generally tubular kit bag or duffle bag (pref. rectangular in cross section) is of a temp. resistant, water proof, flexible material (esp. PVC or polyethylene) and has a longitudinal opening which can be covered with at least one flap. Handles are secured to pref. both sides and both neds by fixing points which are resistant to forces exerted on the handles and bag can be folded flat, preF. by pulley both handles (secured to the ends) apart so that the side walls fold along a longitudinal median line. The bag is used, e.g. for carrying boat or car equipment. The bag can be easily packed or emptied, and is strong and provides good protection.
