Abstract

The ducting U-sections (2, 3, 2', 3') are identical with shallow flanges forming longitudinal edge grooves. Pairs of U-sections are joined back to back along their flanges to form rectangular cross section ducts. The U-sections of a pair of longitudinally staggered with each projecting end having a keyhole slot (22, 32'). Between the ends of the pairs of U-sections are inserts (8, 8') which have projecting threaded studs (91) having nuts (90) forming enlarged heads. The pairs of U-sections are joined by fitting the overlapping ends of the pairs of U-sections together by means of the keyhole slots and the studs which are passed through the slots.
