Abstract
The threshed output flow of a threshing machine is measured continuously using photo electric detectors. The measurements are used for display and for a speed control system. A conveyor belt (2) with partitions (3) carries the grain to the upper part of a grain elevator (1). where the belt turns (6) the elevator casing (5) is shaped to form a guide (7) leading to a transition area (9) which extends across the elevator leading to the entry (8) of the grain container. Immediately after the turning point of the belt is the measuring location (10) containing a photo electric system (14) comprising a bar type luminous source on the upper guide casing (7) and photo electric detectors. These detectors are connected by cables (11) to an electronic evaluation system giving a readout and controlling the operating speed.
