PURPOSE:To indicate automatically and precisely the present direction by subjecting outputs of an angular sensor and a speed sensor to an arithmetic processing. CONSTITUTION:An angular sensor 1 detects the direction change angle theta caused by the direction changing means of a car C and outputs a direction change angular signal theta(t). The speed sensor 2 detects the speed of the car C and output a speed signal v(t). The direction change angular signal theta(t) is converted to tantheta in an arithmetic circuit 3. A gate circuit 4 and a gate circuit 5 take out a direction angle signal tantheta and a speed signal v(t) at every given time. After the direction angle signal tantheta and the speed signal v(t) that are taken out at every given time are multiplied in a multiplying circuit 7, they are integrated in an integrating circuit 8. The output from the integrating circuit 8 is a displaced angle, thereby allowing present advancing direction with respect to a reference direction to be indicated on a CRT display 10 via a indication controlling device 9.
