Abstract

The vehicle propulsion system is usable on any water-borne vessel or land vehicle, transforming the wind force into that necessary for propelling it. One or more screws can be used to move the vehicle, or alternatively one or more wheels. In place of a direct drive, the drive can be transmitted by electric generators, with or without batteries. The windmill can face the wind at all times, and thus allow maximum use of the wind without manoeuvring the vehicle. The transmission may use gears, a drive shaft, or flexible means.
