Abstract

Blower which applies air to the total inner surface of a filter to clean it consists of a hollow tube of which one end is attached to an air gun, while onto the other end is screwed an anti-friction metal member which allows supply of air to four perforations and which retains the rotary assembly by a half ball joint. Mounted on the metal member is a cap onto which is screwed a cover with two eccentric opposed holes allowing rotation of the assembly. An adjuster screw allows adjustment of air presure and peed of rotation. The device has a small dia. and variable length, allowing it to be displaced over the total height of the filter.
