Abstract

The mouthpiece discharges waste water at an angle against the bottom of the conduit and in the direction of the vertical main drainage pipe of a building, in order to prevent the accumulation of solid matter. The mouthpiece is arranged so that it discharges at >= 60 deg. to the vertical and takes the form of a cap which embraces an opening in the pref. flat-topped conduit or is formed by the curved end portion of a connecting pipe. Preferably the mouthpiece has sidewalls which converge towards the bottom and it also has a flat top surface.
