Abstract

A stable self-inverting water-in-oil emulsion having dispersed therein a finely divided acrylamide polymer and, as inverting surfactant, the reaction prodt. of one mole of a fatty alcohol of 12-48C atoms with 6-15 moles of ethylene oxide in an amt. 8 and 15wt.% based on the wt. of polymer in the emulsion.
