Abstract

The box is of rectangular shape, being produced from a grooved sheet of material with two main panels separated by a base, there being side panels and a closing flap attached to the panels. The side panels (38, 38A) each have folding tongues (40, 41) fitting in mating slots (47) along the fold lines joining the flaps (26) to the opposite main panel (12). They also have extensions (30, 32) forming folding locking and reinforcing flaps for the box sides. The flaps (26, 27) attached to the opposite main panel (12) have other extensions (31, 33) acting as reinforcing flaps for the base (10).
