Abstract

A hexagonal box is folded from cut-out sheet. The sides (29) are extended at one end by flaps (34) which are interlocked to form a base. The opposite ends of the sides are extended by flaps (37) which are folded inwards to form a lining for the box. The assembly is held together by glueing an end flap (32). The box can be used with a separate suitable lid. A variant uses a hexagonal panel attached to one of the side panels folded over and glued in position to form the base.
