Abstract

The valve has a housing which consists of two parts. The first parts reaches into the boiler, the second part protrudes beyond the boiler and has a flange on its side for a connecting pipe. The housing has an internal rim located between the first and second part of the housing. A valve ring is mounted on this rim. A spring loaded valve is mounted in the first part of the housing, which is pressed against the valve seat. The top part of the housing has an opening which is in line with the valve opening. The opening in the top of the housing is sufficiently large so that a replacement valve ring or valve can be passed through this opening.
