Improvements introduced into plug gaskets for use in a fluid valve construction having first, second, and third members, and in which the first member is movable relative to the second member, a port in the second member is in communication with the first member, said third member being on the side of the second member opposite to that of the first member; said sealing gasket including a port gasket sealing portion intended to extend through the port and having an inner flange intended to be in sealing contact with the first member; a body part that surrounds said port sealing gasket part with the opposite sides thereof intended to be located against and in contact with the second and third members, pushing the fluid that is in the port to said flange of the port sealing gasket portion in sealing contact with the first member.
