Abstract

A hot and cold water fed mixer tap assembly has two feed pipes fed from separate hot and cold leads which are bent in a flattened S section. The whole assembly is attached to the sanitary installation through a hole and a screw plate retention system hold the tap bore onto the upper installation surface. The feed pipe has an end piece which carries an insert head with sealing rings. This head is inserted into the seating and held in place by a screw such that the screw head makes only tangential contact with the input pipe but retains the head in position without soldering etc. Conventional valve type taps are provided.
