Abstract

The process to texturise fresh extrusion-spun monofilaments and strands of synthetic fibres, where they are drawn and false-twisted has the extrusion-spinning station, drawing station, texturising unit and winding unit arranged in sequence along the line of filament/yarn travel. The system provides a continuous and efficient process for the filaments/yarns to pass through the stages at high speed to give wound finished matl.
