Abstract

An electric storage heater has a set of a blocks supported by a layer resting on longitudinal attached to the base of the casing, and an air entry grid for a lower chamber containing a fan. An air distribution channel around the blocks forming the core communicates with the lower chamber, and a self-regulating flap, controlling the flow through this channel is controlled by a bimetal strip. The bimetal strip is located between the ventilator and the flap, the latter being located in a cross piece above the chamber. A stop limits the closing position of the flap.
