Abstract

The combined shower and water closet installation has a shower base (12) which hinges on horizontal wall mounted hinges (14) to rest on the top (2) of a boxed in water closet. The top of the closet box (2) is contoured to fall from the edges to a central aperture (3), its edges returning (4) down into the aperture, and the pan (1) locating directly beneath and surrounding the aperture: this top (2) thus serving to direct shower water into the pan. The normal closet seat (11) is hinged from the wall adjacent to that supporting the shower base which is secured by a magnetic catch to the wall and the seat hinges down for the unit to function as a closet and vice versa.
