Abstract

Strip or tape made of parchment paper with a surface coating of thermosetting resin, esp. where the coating is a filled and pigmented urea-formaldehyde or melamine based resin. Used as dedging tapes for mfg, of furniture, viz tables, trays etc. esp. for wooden components. By combining a heavy grade paper with a thin resin coating, the strip is more flexible and durable than tapes based on partial or complete impregnation of a paper or fabric tape.
