Abstract

Preassembled units for bathroom and washroom are designed for erection in planned sequence to avoid handling of heavy, awkward assemblies. The bearer frame (1) is fixed (14) to the wall, together with the side brackets (12). Next, the cupboard (3) or other furnishing is fitted underneath and assembled to the bearer frame using the special fixings (13, 31) provided at the rear (35). Finally, the wash basins (22) and decorative vanity top (2-1) are lowered over the top of the bearer frame and fixed in place; back and sides to the bearer frame, at the front to the cupboard. Towel rails (4, 41) and other accessories can be attached (21-11), as required.
