Abstract

Devices for compensating and regulating the tension on the warp threads in a circular loom with a central circular guide around which a shuttle is moved in a concentric track by a rotating cam linked to a shedding mechanism, arranged vertically outside the path of the shuttle, comprise a tension compensation lever drawing a predetermined length of yarn from each a group of supply packages, the ends being fed individually to a spring-loaded tension regulating lever for each thread forming the shed. Ensures uniform tension of the warp threads as they are drawn from the creel and as the shed is formed, improving the quality of the fabric.
