Abstract

The lever consists of a handle, with a square shank fastened to it, and a rectangular screw-on plate. The dimensions of the plate and of the handle coincide near the shank shouldeR, to cover the plate. The transverse dimension of the handle near the shank shoulder is smaller than the distance between the bores, next to the shank, for the fastening screws of the plate. The handle has an integral plate, with the shank being fastened at its centre, and projecting through the centre of the screw-on plate. The design avoids vibratory effects from loosening the screws as in prior art arrangements.
