Abstract

The piston equipped with a sprung piston ring has sliding rings pref. of ptfe. seated over an elastic O ring, arranged either side of this piston ring. The sliding rings are flush with the cylinder and catch any foreign matter in the hydraulic system and thus prevent wear of the piston ring.
