Abstract

The active part of the lock, moving along the face of the door, is driven b a device with a finger moving along the door edge (7). The finger drives a return mechanism causing the movement of the active part. The direction of this movement can be perpendicular to the door edge. The return mechanism can include a connecting rod carried by a small rod rotating about a fixed axis, with one of the ends of the connecting rod pivoting on the finger, while the other bears against a cam integral with the active part.
