Abstract

The curved part of the trimming (1) is in the form of a U-section channel and is made in a moulded semi-rigid plastic. The elasticity of the plastic holds the trimming in place on the shoe. The flat part (2) which is joined to the curved part at one extremity, is placed under the heel (3) of the shoe (4). The trimming can also be held in place by elastic straps (10) which fit round the heel of the shoe, or by straps fastened with a buckle at the front of the shoe. The flat part (2) may be removable and have studs on its lower surface.
