Abstract

The tubular sections are all connected by one pattern of junction. This junction consists of a connecting sleeve (1) pierced for a grub screw. Two sleeves may be fixed at right angles to each other to form part of a right angled framework. End pieces (5) are forced into the tube ends. These are split longitudinally to ensure a tight fit. The outer end of the end insert fits into the connecting sleeve. These ends are fluted so that the end piece from each tube to be connected will fit into the sleeve. These parts are locked together with the grub screw.
