Abstract

The seeds is stored in a hopper, to the back of which are fixed reception and distributor funnels. The side plates (5, 6) have bearings for the pivoting collector. The collector (7) is tubular and has flexible ducts (10, 11, 12, 13) connected to a pump. Their duct ends form parts of connecting boxes with control valves for pressure build-up and release. The boxes are joined to nozzles (18, 19, 20) which place the grain in the funnels after a revolution of the collector of roughly 180 deg. A piston produces a pressure rise to project the grain onto the strip of earth. The rotary collector (7) is driven by a pinion (33) and the control lever synchronised with the strip movement.
