Abstract

The fixed portion of the hinge (4) is seated in a hole bored in the frame of the door or window. This fixed portion has a projecting lug (8) which has a hole for a counter sunk screw (9) which is used to screw the unit to the frame. The moving part of the hinge sits in the fixed part and is held by a pin (16). The moving part also comprises two arms (18 & 19) which are screwed to the window or door and are at right angles to one another. These two arms are joined together at the point where they are attached to the fixed part of the hinge.
