Abstract

The water is collected in a gutter formed in a cup fitting over the top of the compressor housing and running round the edge of the latter, the central part of the cup being shaped to bear against the housing. This central part (13) of the cup (10) has a thinner section than the rest. Slots extending from below can be formed in the gutter edge, to allow insertion of fixing flanges on the compressor housing (11). The cup can have a second edge, extending above the level of the housing, and there can be an opening in the part of the cup bearing against the top of the housing.
