Abstract

A satchel (2) to be secured on top of the petrol tank (9) of a motor cycle, in such a manner that it can be easily freed for access to the filler cap (9a), houses between the double thickness of the bottom (1) of the satchel a flexible strap (7) with a clip (8) at the rear which engages the rear edge of the petrol tank. From the front extends a tongue (4) which carries a VELCRO (R T M) layer each side. A similar clip (6) which engages the front of the tank carries an extension with two layers (5) which are also Velcro faced. By inserting the tongue (4) between the layers (5) the sachel is held down against the top of the tank, under the tension of the flexible strap (7).
