Abstract

The valve body has an enlarged head above a threaded spindle. A cover mounted on top incorporates the spout, which may be designed to swivel. The top of this cover is flanged over to fit into a groove around the top of the valve body. The whole of the valve is covered by a shroud which is a snap-fit onto the body and also onto the front of the spout, the snap-on action being assisted by a rib around the inside of the bottom of the shroud.
