Abstract

The rotor hub is mounted on the extension of a vertical shaft. The hub contains a piston cylinder unit for driving e.g. a grab as used for loading wood on lorries. The shaft has two longitudinal bores for supply and outlet of operating medium under pressure. A sleeve screwed on the end of the shaft extensions is sealed in the hub with 'O' rings and does not rotate relative to the hub but has radial clearance. The bores in the shaft connect to pressure medium lines via channels in the sleeve.
