Abstract

Title homogeniser allows the residence time to be controlled independent of the material props. and therefore the amount of work done on it is controlled. The size reduction and pumping actions are separated and both can be correctly designed. The pumping device is surrounded by shearing blades which are independently driven in both speed and direction. Several rows can be used, also two sets of blades can be used mounted above each other separated by a plate, with feed above and below. The whole is mounted in a vessel with provision for continuous feed and extraction of material.
