Abstract

Inflatable collar round periphery of sack filling device. The device, with the collar deflated, is fitted inside opening of sack, then the collar is inflated. This grips and supports the sack from inside in an airtight fashion. A valve and tube supply the necessary air. The device holds sacks over a weighing machine or can itself form part of such a machine. When the collar is deflated it forms a short cylinder and the system prevents wastage and the risk of harm to an operator.
